Thanks, Steve.  I knew that the Deer Park is overrun with the youthful 
ambition of the pre-alcoholic American university.  The place does have 
an interesting history though.  I don't think the erstwhile name of "St 
Patrick's Inn" is mentioned in M&D nor that bit of folklore about them 
having a tamed bear, whilst staying at the Inn consuming mass quantities 
of apricot brandy (which is mentioned in the book).  
How 'bout a weekend in June, foax?
