Does anybody else find it mildly ironic that now, during this period of
allegedly unprecedented interest in TRP & The List, we are (due to temporary
signoffs for undistracted M&D reading; and due to endless infighting on the
part of a very small number of listees) experiencing one of the more
extended doldrums in recent memory?

Sure hope these hypothetical newbies can hang around until next month, when
the detalied dissection of M&D (and the comparison/contrasting of it to
every other book in the world) begins -- hope *I'm* alive to see it, too.
