Some obversations on list and M&D (no spoilers)

It has been interesting and enlightening participating on a group read
online. My one concern is that it seems to have accelerated the digesting
period of M&D. I can't escape the imagery of pirrhanas and barracudas seeing
the way this book is being vivisected page by page. Anyway, it something I
noticed and wondered if anybody had more thoughts on it.
