Amen! Although my wife has only glanced at Pynchon & not really
given him a try, she is a voracious reader who now works as an
asst. mgr. in a chain bookstore & spends some % of her wages
on books with her employee discount. The kids get books for gifts
& love 'em. So if the rest of the crowd isn't a TRP fan, well, who
cares? BTW, in fairness, I haven't read some of her faves either,
so we're even...
