For M&D Blurb Completists Only

I forget who was compiling the M&D reviews and links, but our local
Richmond free paper, Style Weekly, included M&D in its list of "90
things to do in 90 days" summer guide--as part of the fun summer reading
list (yeah right like 90 days doing just this *one* thing would be
enough time...).

If nothing else, it affords a glimpse into how TRP is being passed along
to the unwashed masses as if he were a--perhaps slightly--more difficult
Tom Clancy...

Here it is, in toto:

Mason & Dixon by Thomas Pynchon (Henry Holt, $27.50) - This is for the
really ambitious. It has been enthusiastically reviewed. More than 700
pages of a semihistorical tale of the team of Mason and Dixon - that's
right, the guys who did the famous line - it's full of food for serious
thought.
