Non pynch - Underworld & Vidal

Delillo's Underworld is out a little early, probably to take advantage
of
the media publicity (Vanity Fair article etc...) I put copies out on my
shelves today. I got an advanced copy about a week ago. I'm 300
pages in and it's great reading....but its no M&D.

Someone mentioned a few weeks ago about the apparent unavailability
of Vidal's Myra Breckenridge....it has come out within the last week
as a 2 in 1 volume with another of his early novels (can't remember
which)
in penguin trade paperback.
