M&D Neophyte, any takers?

Agreed, Sir.

Incidentally, your Sno-Ball stylings reminded me of a poem a friend once
wrote on the topic of a Moon Pie.  It included the lines:

		Moon pie, why did you leave the moon?  
		Was it not inviting to its indigenous sweets?
		Was it the temptation of man's cookie isles
		which drew you away? 

But, enough of this.  I'm progressing to M&D's end zone and have still yet
to make up my mind about the book as a whole.  The sections involving the
Jesuits reminds me of _Fathers and Crows_ by William Vollman which every
Pynchon maven should read.
