I read two (2) articles in today's NY Times that I thought might be of at least passing interest to students of Mason & Dixon and Gravity's Rainbow, respectively: An article on the debate over Daylight Savings Time in Israel; An article on the Nazi's Operation Odessa, focussing on an (arguably) ex-Nazi named Albert Blume who died recently in Brazil.
