Pranksters/24fps [was: VLVL(6) Another Question]

Peter poses a question about "historical guerilla movie outfits," which
seems like a good segue into questions I'd like to pose: Ken Kesey and
the Pranksters shot a lot of film during their travels, and a few years
ago one of Kesey's groups/collectives/front companies began promoting
clips shot from the bus (Further). Kesey is local: He lives just outside
Mello City (Eugene, OR), and the promotions may may have been
regional/Grateful Dead Railroad.

It occurred to me when Vineland was first published that Kesey might have
something to say about 24fps vis-a-vis the Pranksters, but I haven't seen
any comments from the old prankster. Always thought it would be a good
question to pose, tho'.

So my question: What, if any, connection is there between 24fps and the
Pranksters? Have any of the latter commented about film as part of The
Trip?
