does anyone else think this section of "underworld" is really similar in
theme if not execution to "gravity's rainbow"? if so, why? just that dL
(heh) and P have similar opinions about weaponry, powerful men, the 50s,
etc.? maybe homage? maybe dL adds something, or subtracts something, that
makes a statement when compared to the original GR?
