Surf Music Thrice Removed:

Lollo Rosso by The High Llamas

The three removals are: (1) Brian Wilsons later, more relaxed (dare I say
more Don Ho) take on surf; (2) Sean O'Hagans resurrection and
transfiguration of same; (3) all of this remixed by a variety of
post-ironic acolytes.

It burbles and burps along, with the surf guitar absent, just as the
Vietnam war is absent in Vineland.
