After 25 years of wondering and wandering, Tyrone Slothrop finally arrived in
Greece. He kept his travel secret, so secret that even Melanie couldn't know
it.
They had Full Power: They gave him paper -or was it papirus?-, They gave him a
check of the National Bank of Greece, They promised him a V-2 miniature signed
by Homer and that's it...he started to write this Raketemensch story in Greek,
only to find that he needed 1002 pages instead of 760 of his first English
attempt.
Think...so many years passed and he couldn't explain anything further of the
real or surreal facts that happened in these Farbenian times!

After COL49 (1982) and VL (1996), The Pynchonian Quest gets again into -Greek
- town with GR (12/1998).
Never is Late, or as an hysteron proteron, Late is Never.
