Nice compilation, Terrance, and good catch on The Secret Integration's
echoes of House of Seven Gables. I read HSGables again during MDMD and
noted several passages that seemed to resonate with M&D. Like M&D, HSG is
haunted by ghosts, and has an ending that's nearly as ambiguous as M&D's,
too.

I hope this comes through on Pynchon-L.  I've been trying, unsuccessfully,
to post for a couple of days now.
