I had tickets to see King Crimson in Chicago on the _Red_ trio tour back
in the mid-70s, but they broke up a few weeks before the show...oh
well...still one of those desert island recordings...Michael D. Workman
is honing his chops to take us into GRGR(8)...speaking of red, thanks to
Lars for GRGR(7)...and as for now...take us into the weekend
Frippertronics...follow the bouncing switchblade...
(I'm temporarily Webless and Internet Lack, so please forgive errors in
my ear for the lyrics.)
FALLEN ANGEL by Fripp, Wetton, Palmer-James
tears of joy at the birth of a brother
never alone from that time
sixteen years through knife fights and danger
strangely why his life met mine
westside skyline crying
fallen angel dying
risk a life to make a dime
lifetime spent on the streets of the city
make us the people we are
switchblade stings in one tenth of a moment
better get back to the car
fal-len a-a-angel
fal-len a-a-angel
fal-len a-a-angel
westside skyline crying
fallen angel dying
life expiring in the snow-
white sidestreets of cold new york city
stay where there's blood [indecipherable]
sick and tired, blue, wicked and wild
god only knows for how long
fal-len a-a-angel
fal-len a-a-angel
fal-len a-a-angel
