Another excellent book on the subject of corporate amorality is Charles 
Higham's 1983 classic _Trading with the Enemy:  An Expose of the 
Nazi-American Money Plot 1933-1949_.  
Especially interesting is the role of General Aniline & Film (GAF), a 
subsidiary of IG Farben and their contacts with both GM & Ford.  A lot of 
Texas oil supplied the Wehrmacht as well.  Big tankers steamed out of 
Galveston bound for Rio & Lisbon, from whence it was transported to German 
refineries in occupied Europe.  Brazil eventually joined the Allies, but 
Portugal remained "neutral" under the fascist dictator Salazar.
