Yes, but in the context may it not be overly fussy not to latch onto to
the belatedness of c OFFICIALLY entering c as constituting an important
correspondence with the sound/hit reversal in the rocket as well as the
transmarginal business, especially since (as Weisenburger suggests) this
correspondence may be why the thing is important to the couple. A key word
is OFFICIALLY--in accordance with Marquis of Queensbury rules in other
words. The way Bill Macy presumably ordered things vis a vis Pat Nixon  in
Pleasantville. Just a thought.
