Beyond the zero we go "On Leave at the Casino Hermann Goering", and the
"plot" thickens.... things get interesting.... hang in there.  You are
at the point where the poor preterite all throw in the towel.  
How can you have liked the rest of Pynchon and NOT like GR?  Very odd
response.  Ultra-paradoxical?  (To fling GR does not, however, qualify
as an abreaction. This is the normative response.)
