GRGR(6): End of the advent service

Thanks... the last couple of readings I've done of GR (this is time #4 or 5 for
me, depending on your system of numbering), whenever I've hit a section like the
advent service where I didn't understand what was going on, my response has been
to just hold on, just read the words without comprehension, until I get back to
"the story" a few pages later -- this worked fairly well for parts 1-3 and was
totally useless for part 4, where there isn't a "story" any longer, but it meant
that I did not get many of the most *touching* scenes, like this last paragraph
of episode 16. This time, I figure since we're on such a slow schedule anyways,
I'll just try and understand the weird passages.

By the way, I wonder how you other participants in the Group Read are
integrating the schedule into your reading? I've been adhering to it pretty
strictly, not reading the pages for each section until the week of the section.
Are others reading ahead and dropping back?
