FWIW, the Urban Legends site maintained out of San Fernando
handles this bit with some authority. See http://www.snopes.com/
and follow the links (unfortunately, they don't give a direct URL).
And their page blocks out the "copy" button, so it's not convenient
to block and copy. Wonder why that is.

One of these days I'll pull together the Disney refs in GR--seems to
me there are quite a few (e.g., Dumbo ref in GRGR(6), re the magic
feather). Don't know if this is behind Brendan's creeps, but some
aspects of classic Disneyfare do seem to get inside people's heads
in ways that the likes of IG Farben here don't.
