Where are the mirrors, The clocks, The masks and disguises, the tourists,
the skin of V.? OK there's a little, but not the same, right? Push
Enfetishment and Voyeurism from V. to a Narcissistic (TCOL49) extreme and
what do you get? Solipsism? GR is said to involve film in some way, and I
really think rj hit this particular episode on the nail--though one more
loop to be added. Adrew D. liked this angle, to involve film in some way.
What kind of film? Life affirming? Not in the world of Dominus Blicero
right? Don't be fooled by Pynchon's irony here. K is shifty little thing
that looks in.
Terrance
