I read some where recently that the Vatican when negotiating with Allies, 
who were about to liberate Rome, that no black troops be allowed to be 
involved in any aspects of such a liberation.
(he who fucks nuns will later join...)


Also, that Mark Clark was tried in 1947 for incompentency as a result of the 
many deaths in the Italian campaign, the case brought on, in part, by his 
own troops.  Of course, he was acquitted by Congress.
