I will try to pay attention to this angle.  I've never really "caught on" to
Roger.  He sometimes seems rather vanilla to me.  Jessica & he make a nice
sweet respite of love/lust,  But his character doesn't seem too developed,
IMHO.  He's misunderstood, and he's fighting a loosing love-battle.  Poor
Roger.  He's the Anti-Pointsman (no cause/effect, only chance), but why he
buys in to the developing Cabal isn't clear to me, except maybe he just
WANTS to believe SOMETHING....

A-and I gotta admit I've missed Jessica's jealousy.
