maybe Mr. P view of dogs reminds him of us, in some ways.  Their affections 
and, at least in the fiction, definitely, lumped in with the rest of us 
pre-eterites, trying to find that perfect master, and perfect home.

Lotion has a pretty funny/sad song from a dog's point of view, on Full Isaac 
called "Around".
