I don't have the inside track, of course, but I'd be quite surprised if TRP
didn't stop now and again and consider his ability to spin mere words into
such marvelous constructions -- something out of nothing, connecting and
communing with minds around the planet -- more than a little "miraculous";
truly gifted artists usually do.  His comments about the cross-over from
dream and literature, and the way a writer can do his best work in a dream
state, imply, to me at least, that he might be a bit more open-minded on
this score than some P-listers would allow.
