Wehrmacht troops standing watch on the West coast of France gazed in 
increasing amazement as the westward retreating dark of night revealed the 
largest armada ever assembled. The assault on Fortress Europa began, and 
within a year the boys of the Allied forces had brought the Evil Empire to 
its end. We now realize that those boys, who thought they were to save the 
world, did so.
