Would seem like an imperfection. Besides  if you're immutable who needs free will.

To accommodate human free will  don't you have to adopt the milder version of
predestination in which  God foresaw rather than determined who would be saved and
reprobated? The Calvinists and the Synod of Dort say that God's grace is
irresistible seemingly ruling out free will.

And to think wars were fought over these things.
