GRGR(4) - Slothrop's Consent

Slothrop's persona is straight and homophobic. His shadow is gay, and is
the Kenosha Kid. The bonechapel gate is a euphemism for at least the
toiletbowl, but more likely the anus. Slothrop is one of the children
with  prostate ever in aching love promised. The interaction between his
ego-ideal and his shadow is played out in the toilet all of the
section's fantasy material. Ever. Never. Ever. Never. For lack of a
better term, minorities are typically the scapekids (er goats) for our
disowned shadow material. Gays, people of color, etc. This section
reveals the psychospiritual dynamics underlying the horrors that get
magnified at the corporate level. The vision busts Slothrop. All of his
totality is represented in the content. It is disguised because he
cannot 'face' his shadow. He remains dissociated and fragmented, his
ultimate demise. True at the individual level. True at the societal
level. Will he ever put the pieces together. Never. Will we ever put the
pieces together?
