This passage undermines my earlier contention that the 'you' material
was fantasy material not necessarily consciously available to Pointsman
himself.  Seems he may be even creepier than I had supposed, and ought
to be tagged "evil scientist" rather than "mad scientist" in my mental
Dramatist Personae.

Let the indictment read (in part) "that the person or persons aforesaid
did disinter, and then did savagely beat, said dead horse..."
