Schreck, Max Schreck. Accidentally a rather fitting name because it
translates into English as fright, shock or terror. In Tim Burton's
wonderful "The Return of Batman" ("Batman's Return"?) the villain, played by
Christopher Walken, wears the same name.
I never thought of Blicero's appearance as Nosferatu-like, but it does
certainly make sense. Especially when one takes into account that at least
one other character in GR is closely linked to another very important actor
of German expressionist cinema: Franz Pökler, who idolizes Rudolf
Klein-Rogge alias Dr. Mabuse. Not to mention the importance of Fritz Lang's
"Die Frau im Mond" for GR, but I am afraid I am skipping ahead...
