I've posted extensive information in the past about Lilith, mentioned by
TRP in VL and M&D. News reports over the weekend indicate that moral
reformer Jerry Falwell appears to recognize the power of this personage:

Falwell takes shot at Lilith Fair
 First it was Rock For Life, now it's Jerry Falwell who is
taking shots at Sarah McLachlan's Lilith Fair tour. In the June issue
of the National Liberty Journal, which is sponsored by Falwell, an
article says that the concert is inherently evil because of its name.
Editor J.M. Smith said that the festival celebrates a pagan figure
with the name, and he also claims the festival is supporting Planned
Parenthood and dispensing condoms at shows. "Many young people no
doubt attend the Lilith Fair concerts not knowing the demonic legend
of the mystical woman whose name the series manifests," Smith said.
Lilith was the woman that Adam was with before Eve in the Bible, and
because she was kicked out she "dwelled with the demons."
