Dude,
                My daughter sent me a Father's Day card on which was a 
surfing Teddy Bear hanging ten.  Opened up it said, "Happy Father's Day for a 
way-cool Dad!"  Some take an alter ego; others have one thrust upon them.  
Second egos are fun, not necessarily schizophrenic.
                I am disturbed at how three-on-one games can monopolize the 
whole of the list.  Again, I call for civility among p-listers who have more 
in common than in disagreement.  Can you guys move on?  The rest of us get 
it.  You three don't like Doug.  And Doug must feel like he's getting mugged. 
 But clearly you're not going to drive him from the field.  C'mon already.  
Gimme a break.  As Ralph Cramden so often said to Ed Norton, "WILL YOU CUT 
THAT OUT?"  This has transcended a methodological disagreement and 
deteriorated into character assassination.  C'mon.  We can all do better.
