Good point. As an architect, I've worked for many bosses. Most couldn't
give a shit about "a democratic community." In fact, most have been as
DICK-ta-torial as they could get away with. What is the end result of such
practice? Massive turnover w/ a small core of ass-kissers.
I have also worked in environments where opinions are encouraged, even from
the "least" employee. The "multitude of counselors" (see O.T. Bible) works
when fear of reprisal is removed. Only a Boss who is unafraid of being
wrong, and thus eagerly listens to the employees truly employs. The rest
squelch vast resources.

As a digest subscriber, I know the lag frustrates dialogue. If everyone on
this list were so restrained, more thought might inhibit the childish
outbursts, but as an anarchist-at-heart, I see the "crap" on this list as
the necesary by-product: smells bad now, but what is the alternative?
Tight Sphincters! Lord save us!

No.
Push that shit out!
God save us from those tight asses!
