Yeah, that is the question.  I gather that the consensus here is that the
algorithm does work.  If it does work, the next question is whether it is
possible to get access to a working model of the algorithm.  I probably
have enough biblio info to follow up already, but does anyone know offhand
if this thing is accessable to nonexperts?
