The Day of the Beast

I recommend seeing the spanish horror-flick, _The Day of the Beast_, which 
is being shown here in NYC for the first time.  What's interesting about the 
story, despite all the sight gags of a RC priest sinning so he can meet the 
devil and, ultimately to save humanity, is its political overtones amidst 
all the supernatural wallpaper being splashed on.  I can't say more without 
giving things away.  The director, Iglesias, has worked with Almodavor in 
the past. The movie if u couldn't guess is pretty funny.
