Still in print.  Just my opinion, but I think reading this book as a group
read would be quite arbitrary.  I failed to see too much similarity between
this book and anything that Pynchon has written.

If we are going to take stabs at books that aren't written by Pynch, I'd
rather read something that he has mentioned specifically as influencing him
(_Warlock_, etc.), or other books that pertain more directly to the text
rather than something that his friend wrote.

But then again I fail to contribute much during these readings so my
opinion is shit.
