I've just deleted about 600 messages accumulated on my account for a month or
so. R-e-a-l-l-y backed up, not keeping up with _GR_ reading, etc. But (roll
call) I do want GRGR to continue and I'll pop back in when I can.

Glad the urban legends post re lemmings made it here. Another instance of P's
take on Disney, maybe?

Kwas in Polish is acid, as in the fermented liquid from beet juice, rye flour,
etc., used in barszcz (a.k.a. borscht) and the white variety known as zurek
[dot over _z_]. Americans don't know how to make soups after Campbell's. Don't
know if "acid" as in LSD translates to the same slang there (it's been a
while).
