Thinking about all the football about to be watched (by other folks)
this weekend, it occurred to me this morning that there is an
evolutionary benefit to the mindless urge to "support the team", and
that we abstract that drive as we have abstracted others.  GO PYNCHERS!
 

Very sad about the accident.  At Rice we always had a soft spot in our
hearts for the Aggies.  Poor devils indeed.
