I was trying to see PFP's with a more universal application.  PFP#2 really 
is a round-about way of saying what you observe, below.  But is not Slothrop 
one of the Master's creatures?  PFP#2 makes no sense when applied to him, 
thus "creature" must apply only to those kwnowingly in the employ of the 
Master's conspiracy.
