Cockburn piece on Humbolt, with GR bonus

Welcome back, Chris!

I lived up on Salmon Creek road about a 45 minute drive from Garberville
from early fall '79 through March '80. New Year's Eve at the Garberville
Fire Station was an impressive celebration. The pot grower scene was
interesting, to say the least and as I've said before in this forum, TRP
nails it, in many ways, in Vineland. Haven't been back since and haven't
seen the Cockburn article. CAMP has been in full swing, of course, with
several high profile busts of major marijuana farming operations in recent
weeks --
15,000 plants in one raid not very far from the urban heart of the SF Bay Area.
