The plane in Casablanca isn't a DC-3. I believe it's a Fokker. Actually a
scale model of one with midgets servicing it to make it look full scale.
Really. Perhaps our readers on the other side of the puddle would recognize
the DC-3 by its English moniker of "Dakota"
