Yes, Richard Powers imagination is amazing. Gain, although well received
(and by 'good' writers such as Rick Moody), was a disappointment for me. I
never did finish it. Managed to get to within the last 50 pages and didn;t
care what happened in the end. Nevertheless, his book 'Three Farmers on
their way to a Dance' was very good. A mix of slaughterhouse five, and V.
Well, less than that and more than that.
It was good. That's what I have to say.
And this book that someone mentioned The Quickest Angle for Flight,
anyone managed to read it yet? I have tried to get it in Canada and it is
either non-existant or expensive as all hell.
So tell me, is it worth getting?
