    I just started reading it, so I can't comment on it too much (it's by
Steven Kotler, ISBN 1-56858-129-7 here in the States, and I believe I saw a
listing on Amazon.com as well).  The characters remind me (in a stripped down
way) of some of those in Stephenson's Cryptonomicon, and some have compared it
to _Foucault's Pendulum_ by Eco.  I just put down _Angle_ in order to finish
Saramago's _Blindness_, which I've been sucked into.  I read somewhere that
Kotler is working on a second fictional book (I think it's set in/during the
Tex-Mex war?).
    I'll write more as I get further along . . .
