Last exit fascism

There is an essay I found very interesting in New Left Review #202 (Nov 93) 
by Joseph McCarney called Reflections on Fukuyama.  The author suggests 
that a deeper reading of The Last Man... reveals not a celebration of 
liberal capitalism but a fear of the greater strength of authoritarian 
capitalism.  It's a stimulating read.  New Left Review is slowly getting 
its back issues on line but last time I checked they hadn't made it back 
that far.
