I mean, we're taking ad hominem to a whole new fucking collective level
here, people. I simply don't care which of you is right or wrong any more,
I just wish you'd all quit sending out denunciations of people you will
most likely never meet in your entire lives. Doesn't the shooting of an
English professor in his own fucking office make you (anyone, this is
*not* directed at rj alone) wonder about the possible negative results of
turning an academic discussion into an angry venting session?

Jesus H. Christ...IT'S A GODDAMN BOOK! Read it any fucking way you like
and tell me all about it. Just please quit acting like the pumping of your
blood relies on getting the upper hand in the "discussion".
