... and I was starting to worry I might actually be the sanest person in this
ruckus.  Thank you, Mr. (Dr.?--Derek) Maus, that was much needed here.   I just
hope I didn't play all too much a part in driving you to it, is all.  For my
part, I will be happy to read Gravity's Rainbow, et al., any fucking (!) way I
like, and will indeed be happy to tell you, all of you, all about it.  All I ask
is that you perhaps return the favor (which I do not think will be all too large
an imposition here).   Which is the way things SHOULD be, but ...
