POISONOUS SCORPIONS, TARANTULAS FOUND ON ALLEGED PROTEST BUS

The Philadelphia Zoo confirmed Wednesday that a bus stopped Tuesday 
night by the Philadelphia Police Dept was carrying hundred of animals 
including poisonous scorpions and tarantulas.

On Tuesday evening, the zoo's Karl Kranz was contacted by police and 
asked to accompany them to the bus to evaluate the live contents.

In addition to tarantulas and scorpions, the zoo has now accounted 
for hundreds of amphibians, reptiles, skunks and mice.

Police believe that the red London-style bus was headed for the 
Republican National Convention where they believe the animals would 
have been unleashed to create maximum chaos.

No protest group as of Wednesday afternoon has claimed responsibility 
for the bus or the animals.
