Not sure that Boeing Inc. would have been openly advertising the
"feudal-homosexual element" of the modern aviation industry c. 1961. There
seems to be quite a heavy dose of sarcasm in the sentence you're referring
to as well: the word "democracy" in particular seems to be soaked in scorn.
