Holy Fools

Catching up on all yow'se bin talkin' about since I lost email 3
weeks ago.

Someone was talking about a Russian word that equates to, pretty
much, "holy fools".

Just as an experiment, since coming back to this God-forsaken
town (London), I've had a 1/2 hour walk and a 1 hour Tube (the
train, not the flat glass-screened business) journey with a
purple helium balloon attached at a distance of 2m from my
ponytail. In all that time, which included one ticket
transaction, several idle moments watching the thing interact
with the (possibly telluric) random winds that infest the London
Tube system, and even buying a pack of Camels, no-one had even
looked askance at this, let along asked the obvious "what is that
inflated bladder doing floating above your head?" question.
Confirms my notion that there are not actually any people on the
the Tube, only cunning simulacra. Next time I try it naked.

More sensible soon for GRGR 23, I think it was.
