Even more to the point: Walter Abish in _How German Is It?_.

On the basis of Wittgenstein and a few friendly encounters with Austrian
wines, I'm tempted to say Vienna. But Austria, having also given us W.'s
more famous younger school comrade and of late, the Harvard-celebrated Jörg
Haider, has too many factors running against it. Perhaps the combination
"best philosophy" + "best wine" is an empty set.
