I hope P's answer to the luddite question--if it really IS a question
conceibably envisioning an answer, which I doubt--is that it's OK to be
anything you want to be. Same answer as to the question, Is it OK to be a
book reviewer? (I agree with David, the review leaves a lot to be desired, 
including the snide dismissal of Cowgirls)

I probably should shutup as I haven't read the essay very recently.
Doesn't it say something to the effect that science fiction is the modern
manefestation of ludditistic tendencies? Well, it's all right to read
science fiction, isn't it.
